Origin

When Matt Murdock was a child, he was permanently blinded by a radioactive chemical. This heightened his other senses however and also gave him a sense to see shapes and objects around him. His father, "Battling Jack" Murdock trained him and taught him important lessons which would help him later on in his career. This has helped Daredevil to become a lethal hand to hand combat master. Later on, his father was murdered by gangsters after refusing to lose a fight. This caused Matt to don his original yellow and black costume and seek revenge upon the killers.
