Spider-Man: Friend or Foe is a video game released in 2007 for the PS2, PSP, Xbox 360, Wii and DS. It is licenced as an offical movie game', even though it has very little in common with them, besides the villains and their appearances. The game breaks away from the sandbox style from the last 2 Spider-Man games and is more of a platformer.

Plot

A mysterious army has appeared and it is unknown who the leader is. Spider-Man is recruited by S.H.I.E.L.D to stop the army after all of Spider-Man's enemies diappeared. He travels around the Earth attempting to defeat the supervillains and recruit them to stop the army. The villains Spider-man has to defeat and recruit (in order of appearance) is Doc Ock with his large 'sun' from Spider-Man 2 and Green Goblin in Tokyo, Scorpion and Rhino on an unknown island, The Lizard (although he isn't a boss) and Sandman in Egypt, Blade (he also isn't a boss) and Venom in Transylvania and Spider-Man finally discovers who is behind the army: Mysterio. He defeats Mysterio is Nepal and New Goblin is available to be playable.
