The Lizard is one of Spider-Man's early Villains, he is the result of an experiment gone bad by Dr. Curtis Connors. The Lizard have the powers of mostly all reptiles and is able to communicate with them. He has a super-human strength and as able to talk and process as any intelligent human being. The Lizard is Dr. Curtis Connors alter ego, a creature able to scale walls and plant enough fear as well as awe in people.
The Lizard was first sighted in Florida's Everglade, wrecking havoc in the swamps and jungle, terrorizing the nearby hunters and curious reporters. The buzz is soon all over the States and finally reaching New York City, where the Daily Bugle's editor in chief and owner J. Jonah Jameson is after the news on the Lizard. Peter Parker is sent to take photos and soon he switches to Spider-Man and confronts the Lizard. Spider-Man then learns that the Lizard have a family in his house nearby the jungle, and that he was turned into what he is because of his own experiments.
Dr. Conners Lost his arm during war as a surgeon, and ever since sought to seek a way to re-grow his missing limb. He finally found a DNA extract from a reptile and directly drunk it after testing it on a lab mouse. Conners got his arm back but soon the effect escalated and he turned into the Lizard.
